This becomes time lost working on documents. I have been chasing down a server reboot over the last couple of weeks and notice that if the server reboots that after looking in the autorecovery folder that Word is not temporarily saving documents that are being worked on. If users log back into the system after a terminal server reboot that word does not indicate any files were not closed properly thus not letting them recover their work. I have auto recovery set at every 2 minutes and can see that word will write files to the appdata folder so their is no permission issues. \\servername\Profile\bleis\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\ I have each users Microsoft Word "autorecovery" location set to a UNC path where there appdata is being saved. Our configuration includes my users are using office 2007. I am redirecting (Desktop, Favorites, Appdata, Downloads) all folders that tend to grow and slow down on logon times due to accumulation of junk in users profiles. I have all users set with redirected roaming profiles. I have (5) Xenapp 6.5 servers all running published desktops. I'm sure you have heard this one, but I want to do make sure I am doing my due diligence.
